Stamperland Jnrs 1-5 Renfrew FC

Once again numbers were scarce but Chris coming back from injury was good to see, a tough last few weeks has left us burnt out second half and this was no different, a great first half performance against a good Renfrew side saw us trailing 2-1 at half time after we conceded 2 sloppy goals but managed to get one back with about 5 mins to go set up an easier team talk.
Occasionally during the game we were slow to react and make decisions, which Renfrew pounced on but majority of the time we were quick to press the ball and try to put them under pressure.
65 mins in we started to struggle again and with only a 2 subs this was going to be tough and we basically started to make mistakes and the legs were gone again but credit to the boys they keep coming back for more.
Need to show up with 16 next week so we have scope for subs and resting boys some of them have really put in some great shifts the last couple of games and we have been let down by not having enough numbers to change and give them a rest.

Big test again next week against Rutherglen so we must have 15/16 to give us a chance of competing the 90 mins.
