Stamperland Jnrs 1-8 Renfrew FC

Never at the races today whatsoever except for a small part of the first half where we actually had some great possession and created a few good chances.
Renfrew are good to watch as the get the ball on the deck and move it around from the back looking to draw you in and then play a pass to open you up, something which we just couldn’t get to grips with today.
We were caught napping too many times today and not enough effort when we were still in the game.
Yes Renfrew were by far the better team and we were missing a few players today but we never gave a good account of ourselves today.
We must learn to listen to each other and more organisation in the back 4 and midfield something which I’ve been trying to get out the boys for a long time….football wise we needed to be more aggressive in challenges today and more confident on the ball.
Back to league action next week against a tough Stonelaw side but if we work as hard as we did against them last season away then it should be a good game….fingers crossed.
